2009 VMX17 VMaxEXUP Testing withSimulated Speed InjectionThis is another short video of me testing the EXUP valve. I am using a frequency generator to inject a simulated speed of my choice into the ECU and these are the results. This was a test that was derived from the EXUP valve horsepower test I did earlier. The results from the earlier testing lead me to believe that factors other than rpm and gear made a difference. So far I know its controlled by speed, rpm, and gear. The first EXUP video I did started with a cold bike. You can see condensate purge from the weep holes in the muffler. The valve waited longer to open when the bike was cold. Fun to watch stuff.
